I’m an Australian who’s been living in the Netherlands for four-and-a-half years. I like Bach, languages, knitting and mathematics. Oh and chocolate…

Hi1 Brent, Thanks for your reply. I accidently deleted your response. I am not computer wizard. I am much better at knitting. I do not have a blog site nor do i own a digital camera. I did read your response and will take your advice on the type of yarn to use for this great afghan
At this time I am almost finished knitting the Great American Aran Afghan and I also used several squares from the Great American Afghan as well. I know what you mean about it being rather sad when you are finished with your squares. I knitted 25 12inch squares and am almost finished with knitting on the border of this GreatAAA. I began this on February 28, 2008 and finished the squares on August 28, 2008. I felt this tremendous let down but then picked up again and began the border. I am planning on giving this afghan away to a dear friend. Now I have so many ideas about what to kit that I don’t know what to do. (SMILE) Carole
